And I must say: it was worth it in any case!
"As Above, So Below" is like a musical buffet. Who expects stringent, consistent Soul, which is well served with this album maybe less. Rather, many different styles of music in an ingenious way be combined and served. It can be found both supple, idyllic Soul-titles like "Backstreet" or the eponymous "As Above, So Below", and R & B-style songs with flotterem Beat (eg "Forevermore", "Rule The World"), and also songs that almost spread a little hip-hop flavor (such as "Let Me In", "Girlfriend"). The tracks are so versatile and easy fun. We should emphasize the really beautiful voice, with Anthony David each of its tracks white to decorate.
"As Above, So Below" can be used as a relaxing music, insert if you have visitors, or listen on the go and to focus more on the really great texts as brisk Stimmungsmacher than pleasant background music. It is well suited for all kinds of things.
So if you are still (or now? Fortiori) are curious about what kind of music the President of the United States like after hours can hang in the White House and who is this musician who knows far to deliver a good performance over the boundaries of the soul away, then you can courageously take up this work. "As Above, So Below" - definitely a musical treat!
