The new Sony-cube made me at first not so enthusiastic, so the man is a creature of habit :-) Meanwhile, I'm very impressed and would not give the alarm.
On the positive side:
+ After the first connection to the mains already agreed time to the minute. This has been set at the factory and backed up by the inserted battery.
+ The battery is a common CR2032 button cell. Previously had to serve a 9V.
+ In case of power failure the alarm clock wakes anyway. Should you be woken up by radio, will be automatically converted during power failure to buzzer. One wax is definitely
+ Dual alarm are great if you occasionally require a different time.
+ Most of the buttons are also blind easy to find. Even without instructions you can operate the alarm intuitive.
+ The radio sound is very pleasant, the radio shifts smoothly on and off. The reception is very good.
+ The alarm will only be calm and quiet and increases by loud and aggressive.
+ The brightness can be adjusted in 3 stages, the darkest setting is ok (but a matter of taste and depends on the personal feeling from)
+ Processing, weight and facilities are good
+ No whistling or noise, even a cell phone nearby does not affect any noise
Negatives:
- The radio and Sleep button could have make another, so that better lift this from the other keys
- The reflective front looks good, but is very sensitive
- Stations you can only search for sense, there is no automatic search and also not easy to read frequency Scala
Otherwise my clock radio from Sony like it very much, I would recommend it definitely on!
ADDENDUM: Unfortunately, I have discovered an annoying error. After I woke up several times at night because despite adjusted sleep time the radio was still on. I've been looking for, why this is so.
So I press the sleep SLEEP button, to go out on the radio after the set time, eg 30 minutes. This also works flawlessly. One must not only push during this phase, the broad SNOOZE key to increase the screen brightness or reduce. Then the Sleep timer is apparently disabled unintentionally. In the manual, is that you can turn off the sleep timer simply by further press of the SLEEP button to OFF or turn off the radio. From the SNOOZE / DISPLAY button is absolutely no mention, would somehow absurd. The error can be reproduced, just try it without any problems. Too bad, so unfortunately a star deduction ...
