To enjoy the 3D display you have two options:
Select the 3D Mode Once the monitor itself or to use the included TriDef software (player).
The monitor internal 3D menu works only with HDMI cable that has to be bought separately.
The 3D representation using the Tri-Def software from your PC using the supplied DVI cable also possible.
In the delivery probably were back at the wrong glasses that have exactly the same orientation as the 0/0 filter Cinema Glasses in the Sony cinemas. It is a violet ghost effect in 3D mode to detect. When head tilt by 45 degrees the effect disappears. Amazon gave me here accommodating a discount on the purchase of the appropriate glasses.
To even photos and videos tuned to the TriDef player requires further chargeable programs (freeware I have not yet found)
The hardware-based display of 2D photos in 3D mode is already impressive. From 7 of me with TriDef tested games including TriDef mitliefert corresponding graphs, unfortunately only worked 2 in 3D. Here TriDef has the graph probably still make improvements.
The Tri-Def Player (1.6.2) jumps during the presentation of a series of photos back happy times in another mode or even in the 2D mode.
For the polarization process recycled videos and photos look really good raeumllich. Unfortunately, I have since been found on the net only little.
Conclusion:
The time required for the PC mode of delivery attached 3D Tri-Def software works, a total of not fully developed yet with regard to the operation, and flexibility.
The monitor itself already convinced in its price range.
