The monopod has limitations especially with a 35-350, while the tripod is necessary. I did not dare tripod / monopod of some Chinese manufacture but why not if the bill is good. It's always the same problem for aging fighters including myself make beautiful pictures with a bag alleviate difficult to make the right decision without a regular carrier !!
