The article comes in a small cardboard box, but is a good size (it's a very large apple). It is not suitable for smaller (less than 2 years), it weighs indeed quite heavy as underlined in the previous comment.
The toy is well thought out and the worm never remains blocked inside, letting the head or tail to one side or the other of the hole in which we choose to spend it.
This toy favor of children and deserves to occupy in silence. I personally find good quality.
