Monty Python's Total Rubbish: The Complete Collection

"Monty Python's Total Rubbish: The Complete Collection" is a beautifully designed box that comes along very valuable.

In thick sturdy slipcase containing a book and 2 large format Faltpappdinger is where each 5 or 4 CDs are inserted. Current holder of the CDs is not quite optimal because easily scratches can occur when challenges and Hineinfuddeln.

The book contains "liner notes" to Monty Python in general and to each album. It is entered each album on the circumstances in which, with quotes of pythons and other stakeholders. On the possibly contained bonus tracks will be specially addressed. There are respectively the Cover and in the background other motifs from the original design, but unfortunately not in each case the complete design of the original albums. Of course each the tracklist of the album.

The remasters are mostly from 2006, when EMI / Virgin released the albums new Charisma. The bonus tracks have also been published for the first time. In this respect, there is nothing new on the CDs. The first album, which was then still published on the BBC, here is newly remastered included (2014).

The bonus tracks are mostly from the (extensive) sessions for the last album MP for Charisma ("Contractual Obligation" 1980), but are distributed among different CDs. ME it would have been nicer to pack these in a tenth CD in the box. There are also interviews and radio commercials of yesteryear.

In addition, is still the vinyl single "Tiny Black Round Thing" included the original 1974 Flexi Disk as a supplement to NME was. Unfortunately, this is not included on CD.

Unfortunately, the statement in the title "Complete Collection" is not entirely correct. Although there are included all the regular MP albums but missing:
Live at City Center (1977) - This album was released only in the US.
Monty Python Sings (1989) or Monty Python Sings Again (2014) - Although "Sings" is mostly a compilation of songs of MP, but also contains previously unreleased or new songs ("Oliver Cromwell", "I've Got Two Legs ") or new mixes (" The Lumberjack Song "," Medical Love Song "," Henry Kissinger ", etc.). On "Sings Again" there is apart from the other order 6 more songs: "The Silly Walk Song", "The Naval Medley", "Rudyard Kipling", "Nudge Rap / Blackmail", "Rainy Day In Berlin", "Lousy Song ".
In addition, also lacks "summarize Proust Competition" from the "Previous Record" sessions, as far as I know only on the UK version of "The Monty Python Instant Record Collection" published.
Am now not sure whether the compilations "The Final Rip Off" and "The Ultimate Rip Off" exclusive pieces were listed.

Due to the fact that the box is not really complete and the CD jewel case is not optimally solved I subtract one point. Who has the remaster CDs from 2006 and the "Sings Again" Deluxe Edition 2CD has overtaken the debut album as a bonus CD the same content as in the box and come away possibly cheaper.
