The negative first: Unfortunately I miss any claim of a sinusoidal output. The radio is specified with a maximum of 40 watts per channel, the speakers with 400 watts. what shoud that? When I would go to this information, this combination would be totally inappropriate. In fact, radio and speakers are probably more likely to work with about 15 or 20 watts each and the works surprisingly well.
Of particular note I have the fact that I got these speakers come as 3-way speakers. Since then sits in the small hole in fact still a tweeter inside. Whether this is now the standard system, I do not know if so, the description should be updated to. I was skeptical of any benefit can bring or not but is merely a gadget. So finally built and compared. First, one of the new speaker had to play an old. Those were worlds! Good bass, good midrange and crisp highs without deficits. Even with significantly increased volume no negative characteristics observed. Because I was not sure if the tweeter is working, I briefly kept his finger on it and you realize that he actually has a function. But he what extent a positive effect on the whole sound effect, I can not find, unfortunately, because my 2-way version is not available for comparison. After that I did the second speaker mounted and then sat once for half an hour in the car, just to hear music. A real treat. It may be that a spoiled by luxury speaker motorists this is not so feel, but I'm assuming that the 4 "class anyway not belong to this clientele.
Conclusion: For the money, surprisingly good speakers with clear sound in all frequency ranges, and even now as a 3-way speakers with an additional tweeter in circulation. Whether three times as expensive speakers in the laboratory deliver 5% better values I think not decisive, because is important that you yourself are satisfied with the sound quality - and this applies here strongly agree.
