Today I think finally the plate in my hands ... and I'm thrilled. The fourteen, contained on the disc, the songs are a sheer delight. The songs grab you with its mix of orchestral bombast and driving percussions from the first moment. It also quieter songs are represented, for example, the opening track The Golden Age and the beautiful Boat Song.
Vocally reminds all the way to Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons. Since there is truly worse references.
In sum Woodkid has a perfect debut laid which comes with no failures and the next time will probably run in a loop.
If you like pop music with orchestras impact and fat drums is in good hands with Woodkid. All others should check it before perhaps, the above videos are easy to find in Google yes.
