I bought the Dremel workstation due to the superior customer recessions on Amazon and could not help a laugh as the thing was assembled. I had a solid, high-quality drill for my Dremel expected and what was in front of me was a cute blue / gray plastic lumps of trying on a chromed metal rod tightly clings desperately. A quick check prick his finger revealed a game of ca 1-2mm without any stress. Worse still, even the gentle pressing when drilling bend you the Kunstoffträger of the machine accommodates up. Thus, "travels" the drill depending on pressure forward. Along with the above-mentioned game arise as tolerances of 2-3mm. Because I lie with my 1mm drill several drill diameters next ... great sausage. So "toll" I can drill without drill rig. Completely unsuitable for precision work such as platinum holes to drill.
Unfortunately this is the only drill Dremel. Therefore, I am now switched to Proxxon and have ordered the MICROMOT drill stand MB 140 / S. The is made entirely of metal and bears hopefully less to my amusement at.
Update 11/07/2012: I now can test the Proxxon MICROMOT MB 140 / S extensively. No comparison with the Dremel Workstation. Everything is metal, minimum clearance, very functional. Price is similar. Bye bye dremel.
