All in all, the shell is worth. However, it also brings some disadvantages ..:

Benefits:
+ Beautiful design
+ Good fit
+ Scratch protection, fall protection, non-slip
+ Pleasant surface / haptics
+ Perfectly to the iPod to put on the table for games and other apps

Disadvantages:
- IPod does not fit any more docks
- Buttons are hard to press
- Only thin link below the dock adapter port that is very schlapprig
