The "Motown Remixed" album is available in different versions from different countries, but finally this German version with five new / anywhere else published mixes really leaves everything behind and is a great compilation of absolutely contemporary and worth listening new songs from the classic. The were all very hochachtungs- and respectful of the original and edited from of some abstract and hollow mixing! Alone Ben Human Mix of "Is not No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell sounds so great and fresh and new that he leaves her alone to justify the purchase of this album. Turntablerocker sit with "War" by Edwin Starr quite far out of the window and the mix is certainly the most radical, but has an insane Club Groove. Very nice soulful and emotional (and extremely over aschend when one considers the original contrast) is the mix of "Tears Of A Clown / Smokey Robinson" from Soul Society ... soooo beautiful! "Let's Get It On" by Paul Simpson sounds incredibly new and well. The Jackson 5 songs are already classic race, and very, very nice is also "Neither One Of Us" by Gladys Knight, mixed by veteran Kenny Dope. Really uneingescgränkt empfehlenwert and not be confused by the various CDs with the same title "Motown Remixed" - this one is the only and official German version!
