And now comes the big BUT:
Unfortunately, the operation of the camera in the housing is extremely stiff. You have to push very hard to achieve an effect. Here, the small pin which transmits the pressure from the outside on the side operation button, obviously fall a little too long. Anyway, the power button has been pressed too much during use in the housing so that it blocked. The camera could be after a day use no longer on and off. The problem could be solved by any trick, so we have them sent back (thanks to Amazon for the really uncomplicated handling !!).
Even for users who might not want to use in the watertight housing the camera in the first place, there is a small flaw: The front lens of the camera is curved a little outwards, so that it is the most protruding part of the camera, and thereby possible damage heavily exposed. Any use without the housing is therefore not advised.
Because we are afraid that it is the housing problem is a recurring, we have not even ordered the same camera, but nevertheless gained us the slightly more expensive GoPro 3+ silver.
