Not only that, the player is nice to look at, it also offers the high quality, which I'm now accustomed to Creative.
The unit is very well made. The control buttons appear stable and are easy to reach. Operation of the player is intuitive and easy. Compared to my previous player, the Creative Zen Touch, the device is very handy: much smaller and significantly lighter.
The display is sharp, the font is significantly larger and thus easier to read than, say, the Zen Touch. The display is not a giant, but you can watch videos and photos sense it.
The sound quality is very good as well as the Zen Touch. There verscheidene equalizer presets, but also the possibility of a user-defined setting. Since I do not use the included earphones from Creative, of course I can not comment on their quality.
Only negatives:
There is no manual on paper. The manual, which can be found on the CD is only available as a help file in CHM format. At least one PDF would have been nice.
You can play (a comfortable explorer extension) to the player and music just by using the included software. My 'old' Creative was easily recognized as a removable disk, so that music could be played via drag & drop to the player easy.
All in all, the Creative Zen a chic player with a good sound quality, and at a relatively good price. I will certainly stay true Creative long.
