We bought this cable to connect a room on the Internet and it moved to two walls at a length of about 25m. As a previous speaker has already mentioned, you should handle the cable in any case from the inside. Also we have first settled there from the outside and had then after about 10m a catastrophic mess. Unfortunately, since only half complete unwinding and then Neuaufwickeln. The cable behaves pretty stubborn and has a life of its own. Since we had to press on newly after laying the plug, I can also say a lot to the actual structure of the cable. The cable is properly shielded repeatedly. So the wires are twisted and sheathed pairs. These pairs are in turn shielded by a metal mesh that is crisscrossed with a copper wire. The conclusion to the outside in turn forms a metal foil which is enclosed by the plastic sheathing. The only really negative thing about this cable are the unorthodox vein colors (/ TIA-568B EIA / TIA-568A or EIA) do not correspond to the current standards and can be distinguished properly only in good light. The assignment of the cable is as follows:
Pin 1 - White Pin 2 - orange Pin 3 - pink Pin 4 - darker blue Pin 5 - gray Pin 6 - green (looks like a lighter blue) Pin 7 - black Pin 8 - brown
The transmission rates go against it perfectly fine and comply with the Gigabit Ethernet standard, which confirms the proper shielding of the cable. Since the unorthodox colors of the wires that few buyers will actually take and the price-performance is truly outstanding, I forgive still full marks.
