The EOS 1200D is a small entry-level SLR with very decent image quality. Operation and auto focus is fast enough. The viewfinder is quite bright, even if he does not show 100% of the image.
The housing is relatively small (narrow) and therefore ideal for woman hands. My women in the family are happy. A long telephoto does not fit so well because of the balance.
