This course probably made somewhat difficult for complete beginners, because you are confronted with the same (relatively) comprehensive texts. You have to have some "bite", but worth it. Those who wish to pick up a few phrases for the holidays, will presumably. be overwhelmed and you should look for another book. The book offers an amazingly rich vocabulary handling part and the grammar is explained well. The speakers on the two CDs are easy to understand and speak in an appropriate for inexperienced pace. Unfortunately, all the texts from the book are not set to music. For the grammar part there is unfortunately no overview to look up individual statements quickly. Here and there a few questions / inconsistencies have surfaced with me, the same can not be explained in the book. Despite the small flaw I forgive 5 stars because it really delivers a lot of information for me and the price-performance ratio is the best so far, "German-speaking" Swedish textbook.
