This destructive for the device experience made me Sony PRS300: a nice, simple device with a good signature appearance. But the enemy of the good, the Better: The Sony Reader Wi-Fi (PRS-T1BC) Black lured me to the - larger - Touch-screen, the finer font scaling, memory expandability via microSD card, the note function and the dictionaries and encyclopedias , Especially the latter now presents itself to me as a very great feature of the reader out because I read a lot of English books. The integrated lexicons are very easy access when reading. They are very extensive and are therefore ready itself with British literature of the early 19th century. This is a real step forward for me! Along with the online dictionary and also via Wi-Fi invoked Wikipedia stand on the PRS-T1 thus very convenient to invoke additional information.
Otherwise, the unit performs its primary function perfectly: screen font rendering and page structure are very, very good. The Sony is very light and therefore fits comfortably in your hand. Scrolling with a finger Wipe works fine and fast. The administration of stored literature works fast. The only criticism: A longer list of recently read books would be preferable to the representation of a single book. Usually one uses several books or articles in parallel, which facilitated access to it.
PDFs processed the device quickly and reliably. Even the press of my employer, which represents newspaper pages only as a graphic, is easy to read by the zoom function. And there can be many such files use blades on a memory card ...
As an extra you can still get on the Sony PRS-T1 added a very useful audio player. I had little expected of this function and was surprised by the quality of the sound. It's just a Sony, because of Walkman etc ... That's more than okay in everyday life and saves it to have another device in your pocket.
All around: My strong buy recommendation for those who open e-Boookformate prefer and do not want to be dependent on a single platform. Even if we use them just and happy ;-)
