Much quieter than the GHz Edition and almost the same rate

I use the card as an upgrade of a GeForce GTX 480. ATI is used in addition to the obligatory games primarily as a Number crunsher for hashes and Bitcoins. I have chosen deliberately for this card and not nominally slightly faster GHz Edition, which I had tested first. In contrast to 7970 GHz Edition this card is much quieter and uses less power.

- 28% less power consumption than GHZ Edition, 6% less integer performance than GHz Edition

Conclusion: For me, makes quiet operation combined with the lower power consumption this card to my favorites. Who looks at pure performance values ​​should rather buy the GHz Edition.
