My Impression
1. Positive:
- Stable base
- Matte screen (no reflections in light and sun)
- Good interpolation at lower resolutions
- Fast response time (no streaks, etc. to recognize)
- Evenly lit
- Beautiful, not adulterated colors
- Luckily no pixel errors (tested with various monochromatic backgrounds and Games)
- Clean design and good cable ties
- No extra power supply
2. Negative:
- Klavirlack (dust and fingerprints feel as particularly well)
- Display not adjustable (in the price range but normal)
- No manual, just a quick start guide (manual there on the HP Download)
- Only 23.6 incher (ie only 16: 9 resolution)
- No HDMI cable, this there is but when Amazon Basic for a few euros (but DVI-D and VGA are)
Conclusion: I am very satisfied with the screen and would buy it again at any time. Work and play really makes more fun. Above all, I find the abundance of connections super. At Samsung, we by now rationalized the DVI-D connector for the new screens. But I personally use these rather than HDMI, because the cable better sitting by the screw and the image quality is identical.
Tip: To whom the native resolution is too small can customize with Windows7 the DPI. There are selectable presets 100% (standard) / 125% / 150%. But you can also adjust manually. Have put in 110% and find the picture so perfect. It is recommended to set in the menu to the auto output used (eg DVI). Hierdruch the time to detect the monitor is considerably reduced.
