First of all: I've had in 50 years all Fotopraxis: analogue SLR and rangefinder cameras, and in recent years digital SLR and compact cameras Bridge and until quite expensive from cheap. Each had advantages and disadvantages, too big, too small, high speed, not high speed, with the viewfinder without viewfinder, grip, not handy, etc. The Ricoh GR has everything (except zoom). It is small and light, is wonderfully good grip, is processed noble and high quality. Since I as old-school veteran Scan only with viewfinder (also the excellent resolution display of the Ricoh GR worthless in bright sunshine) I bought the small viewfinder GV-2 to do so. The combination works quickly and safely. The GR is still compact enough even with the viewfinder. The best is the luminous intensity, although not at all 2.8 extremely bright is, in combination with the APS-C sensor (giving good service in the Nikon D7000 Spiegelreklex !!) it is for me almost not to believe in any room turn out well exposed images without flash. The highlight for me was at a recent Italy travel a visit to an underground archaeological site, where a dark twilight without art lamps prevailed. I could see the artifacts with my eyes, the photos of GR but looked as if bright sunlight available. My conclusion is this: see title.
