My best earphones I've ever had, pure enthusiasm.

After my old earphones were broken I was looking for a replacement. This time it should be but really good, because I hear so much traveling, in bed enjoying audio books and also the TV watching my girlfriend does not want to wake up.

First, I fetched the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm, which sounded quite nice, but I lacked the bass, were good for TV suitable, but something bad on the go. The Shure K215 also lacked the bass, the cable routing impossible for me also was wearing in the ear uncomfortable (for me). This ruled out the entire Shure series for me.

After I researched further, I came first to the Sony XBA 3. The sound was 1a, defined bass available, treble and midrange very natural and balanced. If not for this would be inclined upward sound outlet. After a short time, this was then me too uncomfortable in the ear, put it, I think I have very sensitive ears.
Well: I looked at the big brother, the XBA 4. The sound outlet appeared in the pictures just, he also has another bass driver for particularly deep bass. Ordered, debugged: Perfect fit, perfect sound, bass even more balanced than in XBA3.
Finally I have my earphones for every application found with whom I can hear any kind of music, thereby have the feeling of being there live.

The only negative point for me were the silicone plugs:
I was really happy with any of Sony XBA 4 included silicon plugs.
Either these were too big or flutschten too quickly from the ear.
And I then could sometimes 2 bass drivers of the XBA 4 barely hear or the effect was weakened.
Thanks to the Comply Foam Tips T200 This is different now. These fit like earplugs the Gehöhrgang perfectly.
The bass sound is now clearly defined, the XBA 4 now remain there where they belong, in the ear.
And from the outside noises I am almost completely cut off, can hear the music well in quieter area without straining my ears. And after a short time you realize even more that there is something in the ear!

For me, the Sony XBA 4 are a strong buy recommendation for users with sensitive ear canals, which also like a very good sound with clearly defined bass. 5 stars because I think I just have to sensitive ears, others are rich silicone plugs well. Who does not want to spend so much money and with the upwardly sloping output clearly comes I also recommend the XBA. 3
