My best ever HTC device! Am thrilled!

Processing:

Outstanding! the processing is not only very robust, it is too! No creaking of the case, not a squeak / creak when slider mechanism, no noise when lifting the display, processing is literally flawless!

Functions / software:

The menu of the HTC Touch Pro 2 (TouchFlo3D) has become even a cut above that of his predecessor devices! The HTC interface hides the Windows Mobile 6.1 interface literally almost to the full. The operating system is even a trace become brisk, the example I would have nciht thought before buying! The fluidity of navigation on mobile equivalent of the BlackBerry device, no jerking, no Laezeiten, it works just fine! nor for processing: the feel and the look of the device are absolutely stylish and elegant, the device shines beautifully and looks none of noble! The unit has also really everything you can expect from a mobile phone these days when it comes to the software extent! The software is not yet crashed yet not once!

Keys / keypad:

The internal keyboard has a great pressure point, the best I've had in a mobile phone ever! You can type very fast in a short time already! the QWERTY has to my great joy and an excellent Hitnergrundbeleuchtung! The front panel buttons of Pro2s have also a very good tactile feedback. The uniform Click the keys illustrates the fine workmanship! Further noted is that the device houses a 5 rows keyboard, which means that the user does not pay, for example by pressing a button to reach the secondary, each digit has its own taste!

Dimensions:

The Pro2 but is quite large (after all, even 188g). In several videos, it seemed a bit small, especially slender ago, when it is finally! against the Nokia E90 beipsielsweise no comparison (!), the Pro2 looks definitely less. in contrast to its predecessor, the HTC Touch Pro 1 is the unit noticeably longer and wider, but also significantly less deep (thick). the device is very good in my hand, however for longer calls, however, a perceptible weight ... but that bothers me not

Battery:

the battery will last for my user behavior exactly two whole (!) working days by. To pictorialization: 75 minutes telephony (incoming and outgoing together), about 70 SMS (in and out), about 30 emails I check manually and Download (including attachments), to come about 15 answer mails and 15 minutes Internet surfing, 10 mins RSS Downloads, 20-30 minutes GPS usage ...
I am absolutely satisfied and surprised at the same time (so sorry that almost already do) if I can be two days even sure that the battery will not let me down (I'm for example by HTC itself completely different usual)

Camera:

Photos without daylight are more like snapshots, the quality could be definitely better here. The photos will be daylight or under sufficient light, however, very very good. Sharpness, contrast, but also the trip time are absolutely sufficient!
Another positive point: The operating mechanism is excellent: the autofocus starts very quickly

E-mail / SMS / Messaging / Contact Power:

As usual with HTC incoming SMS and e-mails are displayed super-stylish. Obtained, for example an e-mail appears a letter-like envelope (couvert) from which one can already read out the first few lines. SMS messages are also shown resourceful!

Very innovative: The contacts are linked only imaginable with all the new TouchFlo3D surface: I click, for example to the contact A, so I can see all SMS, e-mails, calls, etc. I have made contact with this! very convenient in everyday life!

GPS:

place even after the very first use within approximately 20/30 seconds, the GPS signal (hotfix extremely fast obviously!)
After the first use the GPS signal is immediately after the start of each GPS software available (but that's now almost standard that you do not have to wait 5 seconds, until the GPS signal)

Drawback, however: (yet) any navigation software also runs on HTC Touch Pro 2. I myself have long to experiment until I brought the appropriate software to run: Navigon Navigator (important: Version 7.3.4 !!! including !!! not running the software and bring the device to crash) iGo should also be easy to install, according to XDA-Developers!

But who wants to do without a specially-selling GPS software, may have recourse to the pre-installed Google Maps program!

Notable Gimmnicks the device:

Screen: changes by the position sensor without the display defer very quickly and without delay from vertical to horizontal display

when the device performs the phone to your ear, the display goes off automatically

The fixed shutter by the stuck Stylus gives me personally a certain safety in handling the device!

TouchFlo3D: as already mentioned: WinMob 6.1 is covered up completely, a service complete with your fingers is not a problem! the surface is very stable and liquid, no shocks during operation. In addition, the surface was (and you can even adjust in this release, speak to and disconnecting) by a new Kalnderansicht (own menu item) and a stock price display (also) expanded.

The standby mode of the device: has also been improved: now more than 2 upcoming appointments are displayed anyway!

Surf Internet:

Absolutely amazing! the preinstalled Opera browser runs ultra liquid, be the HSDPA web pages loaded quickly but especially remarkable and noteworthy: the representation ebdingt by the giant display is unique! Surfing on the device's great fun! in contrast to my previous devices I hesitate no longer, look up something on the Internet! it makes for a really fun and on the other hand it funktioneirt properly and quickly!

Voice quality / Sound:

nothing to complain about in view of voice quality!
The volume of ring tones has been massively improved. the preset ringer volume is in my opinion much too loud. one is startled when the phone is ringing formally at the first few times, if you have the volume does not already runtergedrosselt.

Sun suitability:

in direct sunlight the display is very difficult to decipher, but I aheb as yet no device in hands held that the sunlight better than, say, put away the equipment. Thus there is for me also here nothing to complain about.

my personal disadvantages:

there is little! The mobile phone not only meets my personal expectations, it also surpasses by far!
call values ​​drawbacks in my opinion would be the camera that could be better, and the fact that the device is quite large and small hands certainly is unwieldy, also the weight of 188g falls with longer calls on quite.

Device with the fold open display:

The display can be as already mentioned not only postpone but also fold up (about 50 degrees). the unit is fixed wobble when it is on the table in the unfolded state! unlike many other devices with folding screen that Gera falls not.
I have read reports that HTC is said to have some faulty equipment manufactures: The display is to wiggle in its open position when moving the machine, according to some users ... at my any case the display is very fixed, regardless of the positiion I stay there leave and as I move the unit, the display wobbles with me thanks be to God not

Conclusion:
so far my best HTC smartphone that I've ever had! The device is absolutely timely (one could hchstens Camera objectionable in my view)!
