My best investment for a long time!

With my Tevion mp3 player I like to listen to loud metal / punk rock music in bus and train. However, the supplied headphones are not exactly brilliant, because they were insufficient in the ear with me. With a friend I once heard the sample Koss Porta Pro and was really impressed. However, prevented me from purchasing that my environment is unintentionally benefited from Campino Vacations and Hetfield. And my (short) hair permanently clamped in the support brackets firmly ...

Then I, appointed without further research here EP 630. The first insertion was a bit problematic because you have to get used to the foreign body sensation in the ear is for now. Since the very pleasant soft silicone pads to complete the auditory canal airtight, there is a slight overpressure in the ear is at the onset. My tip: After inserting simply swallow times!

At the first trial hearing, I was amazed at what comes out of my MP3 player for rich Mucke. In each volume the subtleties come over any time super. All the music I have not heard it, sounds so much better than my old headphones, and I can not imagine that another headphones can still mean another such quantum leap. Neighbors in the compartment heard even at high volumes nothing, and beyond the ambient noise are almost completely excluded. Man, I really enjoyed that, for the first time by train from Frankfurt to Hamburg without annoying announcements over the BordBistro and "Thank you for purchasing the German Rail"!

The silicone pads are, as I said, very comfortable in the ear. However, they are also quickly dirty if you put them without protection in the pocket, as they attract every speck of dust immediately (perhaps still a gap in the market: The EP 630, the dust collector on the go :-). And that is for me the only shortcoming: It is unfortunately supplied no matching Aufbewahrungsmöglichtkeit.

The cables are also very soft and easy to roll and unroll again. With my old headset I was able to give me so much trouble when stowing: Every time I drew him out of his pocket, I had cable clutter. Here it is different: simply cuddled the headphones in the pocket, get out, shake briefly, and you're done! If you ask me, is pure magic ... The plug does not exactly the strongest impression, because the bend protection is not applied to the cable and contributes so little to the mechanical stability. But if you do not handle it rough, that should not be a problem.

All in all, 5 stars: The excellent music quality is the most important thing in a headset. And therefore, despite habituation need while wearing and defects during storage, full marks!
