To read some very negative reviews I almost gave up to buy this hard drive: unit comes with a US plug, no power-on, no switch, low quality plastic and so on, and worse. But I still took the risk to validate my order. Well, I do not regret it. I did not have the problems of other customers. Everything was ok What good is a since switch off with the computer? The light indicates whether the drive is working, or if it is in standby, etc, etc ... Oh yes! I still had some problems with the installation. The start was not normally done, and we had to re-install several times, having previously downloaded the manual. After resolving the problem, I was able to do my backups. You can also use it as a conventional hard drive. And with 2 TB capacity, there is enough to store hours of videos and photos as well as office files. In summary, we have a great product!
