My expectations were not quite met .......

........ At least not from the point of price / performance ratio!
Because in the price range you get already the first DSLR's (D3100 / 3200 or D5100) with respectable Shard.
And as photographic technology can not keep up the small J3 is probably hardly be disputed. In my view, the J3 moves quality technically hardly an ordinary compact.
I can see no difference photographically to my P330 in the circumstances optimal settings. Or rather, this is by no means so great that the financial impact justify compared to the purchase price of a P330 somehow could.

The Nikon is my first system camera. Normally I use a DSLR or otherwise for the quick snapshot as mentioned the P330.
Convinced not made me the Nikon and I would have expected a little more. Since I have no comparison model in the field of system cameras, I regard only with respect to the price / performance ratio, my expectations and the comparison with my DSLR and pocket clippers.

That leaves the sober conclusion that it tends more towards your pocket instead of clippers for SLR when it comes to photo quality.
Therefore, I only neutral 3 stars!
