My experiences with Alone in the Dark

Wow, after reading all these reviews mostly bad, I was very skeptical. But I'm now accustomed to a lot when it comes to lousy controls and so I got me Alone in the Dark finally all the negative reviews in defiance, but bought (for grade times 20 Euro). And at first, all the prophecies of doom seemed also to be coming true. It started already with the installation, which lasted abartig long (about 40 minutes !!!!). Since Stranglehold with 2 DVDs and a total of 15 GB was indeed installed faster! But no matter, after all, it was on the plate. Here we go, I thought - far from it: the game starts not at first, should I call indeed came to the main menu, but once I started a new game, was nothing! So, get out from the internet and googled fleißlig until I finally met after about half an hour to a solution (you have to add in the exe file properties under a certain parameter, then gehs). Juhu !! At last the game. AAAABBBBEER: The sound spins! Despite current drivers, etc. No matter, even this problem I've come to grips with, and although you have only once the game using Ctrl + Alt + Del in the taskbar to move and recall, then the sound was normal and it was strangely even liquid (* Kopfschüttel *)

The next few hours should compensate me for everything that was expected of me before. Because Alone in the Dark is a great staged game, with good (though a bit strange) graphics and excellent opportunities for interaction (on which is enough in other reviews, so I will not perform this here even further). Granted, the controller is used to, but hey? Each had AITD game a modest control - has yet somehow nostalgic or what? Joking aside. If you can bring a little patience to get used to the control system and experienced, as already mentioned, grand adventure (which acts stretched unfortunately towards the end of something - the roots of evil !!!)

Overall, the game 4 stars to me is but worth. The staging rescues some.
