My favorite part of the series so far

I know the game came after a 3-year development phase out an exact month or two too early to call it really finished by tested game. Unfortunately, bad for his reputation. With more than 1 million XBox One Bundles in the US but there was probably no chance to postpone it.

I got the game shortly before 3 Patch and played a few hours unpatched. It was perhaps a little choppy and yes, there were a lot of bugs. After Patch 3 almost all issues were past and since it runs well Patch 4 liquid (s) - honest, I hardly realized I do not need stable 30 frames / second.

A word about the alleged extreme popups after Patch 4. I specially respected it, that's never occurred to me. The game increases while dynamically the level of detail and the number of characters and it shows ... if one pays attention. Disturbed it does not have me.

After this overlong preface now for the game. It captivated me from the beginning. Whether one sneaks through the lavish rooms of Versailles, a prison escape, herumkraxelt in a cathedral or at the first synchronization Paris in all its glory sees the game a skin repeatedly from stool. Paris just fits for Assassins (although Black Flag a great pirate game was) and the story in the cutscenes fun (even if they will win an Oscar).

Some observations with no claim to describe all the facets of the game:
- The control is good after some getting used to climb the automatic down especially. Unfortunately, that was "climbing up accidentally on something" fixed not really perfect. I had thought you would have a button to run and only for climbing. As in all parts of you are fighting as the beginning rather than the control with the opponents.
- Fighting has become more difficult, crawl and patience will be rewarded. However, the battle mechanics itself is exactly as simple as always
- One can improve his Asssassinen like in a role-play and to specialize. Nothing great, but a welcome change.
- You will no longer be tracked on the roofs (but probably fired), definitely makes the Plan from the roof of the matter somehow very assassin-like.
- In addition there are plenty of activities, such as building missions of various kinds or Häusle (off). The scope is thus quite powerful. Even if you're not done everything to 100% (which probably will not work so hot with the comic app and the website) is more than enough game time. This also applies to additional content. One can buy the expensive real money, I needed something never before. For the initial problems there are, incidentally, an add-on for free, I'm afraid so, the game has once more content than I have time.

The graphics are the way just hammer. Who does not need ultra high resolutions, here gets the same grandiose architecture and details, and virtually the same fantastic lighting as a high-end PC. Of course, who needs the Ultra textures perfectly soft shadows and high resolution that brings with its PC the last ounce out.

As here often criticized, with the extremely demanding geometry and the 1000s people in the streets one is hard at the limit of what can afford 400 expensive consoles, but I'm glad that they have dared to take this quantum leap, Paris seems unequal vivid and realistic than anything previously offered.

Is Unity the perfect game? Certainly not! The gameplay is simple as ever, everything repeats itself in the end and will remain "only" through the story interesting. Sometimes it jerky, sometimes what pops up in the field of vision and very rarely depends someone in the wall or the air. The pure "Stealth" missions can be a bit annoying, because one again starts from the front and can not go with fighting off the hook (but always have been something like that). Bothers me that? No, absolutely not, I can walk around for a few hours in Paris once just, even without a fixed contract and lose myself completely in the atmosphere of the city.

I give the game so consciously 5 stars because for the whole witch hunt on Ubisoft there might be people who think all the negative hype and miss something unique. Who is of course Hardcore Games and is accustomed to the 60 frames / second at full HD and run higher, might have some problems - "normal" players with whom I spoke, did not even know what I meant when I what from framerate issues told.

In conclusion remains to say that I know the mix of gameplay elements like best so far, while many think, Parts 2 or 4 had the perfect mix. Under no circumstances Unity classes is worse than these two. But those who previously could not do anything with AC is also not converted here, the changes / improvements are evolutionary rather than revolutionary)
