My main reason to buy this device was that it is in the UMTS router mode firewall with SPI functionality is available, so that one does not go completely unprotected via UMTS to the Internet. In addition, of course, is the very variable "6-in-1" functionality a further incentive. Installation can also be done without the included software (on CD) and is not too complicated, although it helps if you know the Web gestütze establishment of comparable routers already. You can switch between eg router mode, Hotspot mode or Access Point mode but must probably (so it looks to me at the moment of) always made via a connected computer via Web interface and reboot the router. I've been using the device as a WLAN access point and currently as a UMTS router. Both work fine. Impressive is the small size, given the many functions (the included power adapter appears bulkier than the device itself).
