- The delivery was very quick. Ordered Thursday and on Saturday already.
- Content: 100 g henna, a plastic cap, a well-to-understand instructions and plastic gloves.
- Mixing (Important: always make a sample before complete dyeing streak, especially if, like me, has chemically colored hair):
Mixing of Henna is very simple, you just have to be careful not too much, but also not to take too little boiling water. The smell, well, I find it not very great, but bearable. Indicative something after tea and hay, unlike chemical color. The paste looks like greenish cow shit (sorry for the expression, but no better way to describe it).
- The application: preliminary, which is a real mess. I've designed the sink and the floor with yellow Säcker but ready added a wet washcloth, if something should go wrong (and does). One should also not slow wearing his favorite T-shirt, in addition I bought Cleaning Wipes for the face, because there is always something henna on the face, hanging on the neck and the ears. The paste can be spread pretty bad, you just have to try it as evenly as possible to apply. I have long hair and 100g have just been sufficient so, the next time I get myself definitely two packs. When you're done, the plastic dome attracts you about the hair, but she is torn at me at the back, but this really is not so bad, because I've still wrapped a towel around her head.
- Enwirken leave: In the directions is an exposure time of 2 hours, but I have 3 and a half hours it left it, because I just wanted to play it safe. It's not really nice, as long the henna walking around on his head and an old T-shirt, it does not itch or hurt, but when you get unannounced visit, it is perhaps not so pleasant, the henna not exactly exuding yes a pleasant smell for everyone.
- Washing: I was really scared that the henna rauswäscht not right, but there are relatively simple. I have after that washed my hair with shampoo, but even that could not cover properly the smell of henna. Then blow-dried and you are set. Mir is about an hour later noticed that I still had henna remains on the shoulders in the neck, which has annoyed me really. I did not wash my hair again, so I got it as well as he washed my hands and a little water.
- The color result: The color I am very satisfied. My approaches one sees no longer (I have naturally medium brown hair). The color is of course not as gaudy as to a chemical coloring, but still intenisv and beautiful red. Not quite as bright as on the package, but I think that's not bad, because the color result may vary depending on origin hair color. And there's a nice side effect: The hair feels very soft and the color and really more natural than to a chemical coloring.
Overall, I am satisfied. Dyeing with henna is clearly aufweniger as with chemistry and, at least in my case, more expensive, but for the sake of my hair I take this like me. For people who want to take the time, Henna is a good alternative to chemical hair dyes.
