This backhoe is reproduced at a scale perfectly suited for children 2 to 3 years. Plastic, it is light enough but overall quite durable. However, we had two copies of the product, and each time the grip of verrin of the backhoe on the back broke. Moreover, this rear part, which is removable, is detached too easily. Overall still a good toy that has been well used.
