Narrow Soundbase, adult tone

Due to a move, had to make way for space reasons my 7.1 system a space-saving solution.
Since I'm used to good sound, it was not easy to inspire me with a soundbar / Soundbase solution.
I tested SoundBar between 150, - and 500, Euro, including Devil, Canton, Yamaha, Denon, Magnat, JBL, Samsung and LG.
The sound of the bass voices unfortunately was often modest, too intrusive, too quiet, the vote badly, or the connectivity insufficient.
I now ordered my Sony Sound Base, due to the many good reviews and because I am convinced of the quality of Sony products. However, I was a bit skeptical about whether this flat Soundbase can produce a powerful sound, even without an external subwoofer.

Appearance:
The SoundBase is very noble and in view of the "low" price, the workmanship is excellent.
The design is modern and looks quality as if some EUR 400 Soundbar.
The remote looks futuristic and offers good access to all settings,
which can be configured via the front panel display of the base.

Connection / Assembly:
My 50 "Sony KDL-50W805b LED TV fits easily onto the base, and the connection of all devices
the 3 HDMI ports, which are almost an exception in such sound solutions proved very easy. For this I used only high-speed HDMI 1.4a cable.

Use / sound:
The soundbar turned directly with my TV and has been recognized as an audio system so that the TV speakers are disabled. The volume could be controlled directly via the TV remote control.
After I made a few adjustments, I was amazed even during the TV program as strong and spatially the sound is output.
It also provides a wide soundstage and even with wider seat pitch, a "middle" feeling is Originated with me.
Full of anticipation, I put several Blurays (eg Avatar, Lord of the Rings, ...) and was directly inspired and completely convinced of the power of this system. Even the bass, because I had a little concern is strong enough and never dull or imprecise.
Pairing my smartphone via NFC worked without any problems, even while listening to Metal,
is not shattered the glass surface.
The tonal match with this system is excellent. Treble, mid, bass, voices ... everything is differentiated and clearly reproduced without the something is superimposed.
Exactly lacked for many previous systems. In addition, I can leave the settings for Bluray or TV as they are now and not have to like the other systems after every program change, reduce the bass / increase, adjust the volume, or strengthen the voices.
It still comes every time a "wow factor" when I hear the great sound and thereby keep rates and narrow design in mind.
The Voice settings Voice Enhancement also work very well and the various sound modes are all suitable to the situation.

Conclusion:
For an affordable price you get a fancy sound system, with many connectivity options, ease of use and excellent sound.
