After a short research I had the FiiO E06 ordered because it had gotten so many good reviews and also the size is really portable. After delivery, however, was after 10 minutes of use clearly: This thing goes back. Fit for my combination anything, no gain perceptible.
So had to be an alternative. It was immediately clear the need fro E11. When I saw on Amazon that the successor E11K is available, a lot of the decision immediately on this product. The predecessor was indeed already praised to the skies.
The aluminum housing gives no cause for criticism. Also the volume control and the switches make a quality impression and can be very good use.
The sound of the amplifier is very pleasant, as it does not distort the original sound in my opinion. In position L gain switch comes with my equipment now not so much "steam". But on position H I finally the desired volume. The maximum volume I'll probably rarely and not hear for a long time, but it's nice to know that you can achieve this now.
Although there is still no volume at which I would say: "Ouch, that hurts and is too much", but suffice it fully enough to me and for everyday use.
Bass adjustment I like is not yet final assessment, as I have the device only 2 days in use. The first impression was: Rather use the neutral position, since the bass becomes spongy. For other titles, however, I was glad that I had the opportunity to raise the bass a little. I think everyone has to find out for himself. One must not use so ...
Previous Conclusion: Good amplification, very good sound, very good housing. Can remain ;-)
