I bought this book because I was missing in the series of 21 "club 5" Enid Blyton in French. I also have 21 books in English. But why publishers do they give the right to change the text? Or translation in this case? To more modern? No Does it not enough modern books on the market? Then we can discover an era (admittedly gone !!) to children! Why talk about Enid Blyton taxi when talking about horse carriage? Why change the titles of the books? To mislead the buyer? In versions of my childhood in the 80s, there were illustrations that correspond to the text at the time of the story ... In this book, the cover is heartbreaking, the dog seems to a zombie ... I guess it is the same for the other books ... I would not buy for my children or nieces and nephews ... I prefer to lend their old versions of my childhood!
