Bass Flow from Sweden (eg the ESC winning song has "Euphoria" composed for Loreen and has successfully Single remix of Helene Fischer's "Breathless" mixed) has accepted with love and respect for the song the 80s classic "Brother Louie". The "Bass Flow 3.0 Remix" does not change the song too much, but gives him a new, contemporary look. Some sound elements remind me of typical Pitbull sounds. For me the highlight of the CD no matter whether in single or in Extended Mix.
There are also four album tracks from the 80s in remixed productions. Here I find particularly successful "Just like an angel". The composition was again tidy missed Drive and at the end of the chorus there is a new voice sample with the high Chören- very horny.
Contains To my great joy, "30", the alternative radio version of "TV makes the superstar" who personally even better than I like the 2003 ultimately released mix.
All single hits are of course included and were remastedered what you can hear well in the title from the 80s.
And Modern Talking have delivered without doubt some cherished classics. Whether "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" or "Win The Race" - the songs are catchy and very reminiscent of the respective zeitgeist of publication years.
A star deduction is available for the gruesome visual design (the cover looks cheap and trashy turning the could have been done so much better) and for the very moderate Annivesary Hitmix. The transitions are usually not gelungen- no comparison to the ingenious "Space Mix" from "Alone" album (1999).
Conclusion: Modern Talking polarize even today. But undoubtedly the song of Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders wrote music history. That the 30-year Jubilee is celebrated despite the strained situation between the two Akteuren- with a new album, is very gratifying. That case also some worthwhile new versions for the real fans out there even more. One would certainly be able to do a lot better, but overall this is a successful publication and recalls for 11 years after the last separation of the big hits of the music legend Modern Talking.
