New style, still very well done!

Bossaura (Audio CD)

Customer Review

At the beginning it can be said that Kollegah relies on a completely different style. Autotune adorns many hooks and so the whole thing looks slightly covered, but also tracks are (For details see the individual reviews) in which the Autotune really sounds very good.

----------

Tracks:

Forever (Intro): The intro is good. It shows the listener early on what he gets involved in Bossaura, namely still on the boss and his superior Punshlines and puns that are plugged into a new suit.

Drugs in jeans: Here Kollegah builds again on the Dopeticker image, the text is perfectly matched to the beat. The track is now not so much designed to Punshlinetechnik. The Hook is crossed by Autotune, which although not as penetrative acts as in other tracks, because it keeps more in the background.

Spotlight: Hammer! This track meets exactly my taste. Of course, he also has some trimmed to pop, but in my opinion everything is right here. The beat is really good and Kollegah convinced a varied text. The hook is sung by a woman, whose voice has been edited with Autotune. But it is precisely here that everything fits in beautifully. My absolute favorite track!

Jetlag: Here I find the Autotune in the hook a bit disturbing, even if it seems to fit to the overall picture, the somewhat unimaginative Hook ensures a small disappointment. This disappointment is compensated by creative Punshlines and Double Time passages in the Parts.

Business Paris was already published in advance by Selfmade Records. The Beat sucks the text (also the part of the French) on really well and also Kollegah raises the quality of this track with horny Compare ([...] so some Alligatore (A-League goals) were taken for these shoes as for championship trophy [...]) significantly. Is also one of my favorites on the album.

Lunar Eclipse: What promises the boss, he also seems to hold. Early on, he announced a pure Double Time Track and these he has implemented with wonderful lunar eclipse. Both parts were added to old Doubletimeschanier. Nevertheless, the lines are not clearly understood. Since the boss has again shaken an ace up their sleeve;)

Billionaire's Club: Even though I do not like Sundiego, I must say that I also like this track quite well. The listener is as usual of the features of both serves gutgerappten Double Time passages and kollegaesken compare.

Bad Girl: One of the themes in the album tracks. Unfortunately, I like this track is not so good. I think the hook is not particularly good, even if the text fits back on the beat, so I can unfortunately not do anything. A matter of taste! ;)

Cobra Head: The most interesting for me feature track on the whole album. Lyrically are Kollegah and especially Farid Bang rauszuheben. Arrest warrant is not bad, but I like his style in general is not so much, it disturbs me but not to this very track. The Autotune is relatively fit as I find in this hook. The best part in this track delivers well Farid Bang, because he, in my opinion simply brings the hotter comparisons and Punshlines. But Kollegah is still used heavily represented.

Flex, Sluts, Rock'n'Roll: The provisional working title and first releaste title of this album did not like me at first so much. However, this was probably because that one was so thrown by Kollegah directly into the deep end. Meanwhile, I think the beat really crass and also lyrically calls Kollegah a boss-like quality from. Autotune is in Hook extremely pushy, because the vote is already heavily disfigured, so here you get deductions.

IHDP: Wonderful! Kollegah tells a story again, integrating them perfectly in the text. Also Sundiego sings the hook really good. Another example of a perfectly integrated Autotune.

Bossaura time: 6 minutes Punshlines. 6 minutes non-stop comparisons and puns that seem to fly one around the ears! Bossaura ballert neat and brings the listener also desöfteren smile and above all to think.

Kokayne: I like rather not. Do I have to suddenly whatsoever skipped because I tell the little features and not really hang the track and the first time hearing remained. In the Hook again this penetrante Autotune and the Kollegah-Part I think this time is not as strong as usual.

You: Puhhh ... What else can I say? A very personal track of Kollegah. Knowing so not by him! But if he has good job. He tells of a failed relationship and of the lyric I, which expires in a depression. The beat, the text and especially the Hook manage to evoke these feelings in the listener. This track is really very intense. Another favorite on this album!

Undercover: Here too, again double-time passages and well-appointed Punshlines enough variety. Unfortunately, it seems to me the hook again a bit unimaginative, but it fits the whole everything here together.

Money: Schicker beat that animates me directly with the opening bars to entrain. Kollegah succeeds again, perfect to use this beat for his text. As so often is the drug dealer image linked to the player image and also the Autotune in Hook complemented perfectly with the text and the Beat.

H & F: This time, I do not like the beat so much. Lyrically strong again, Hook something rare and overall just not my cup of tea.

The Light (Outro): The most personal Outro, thereby also certainly one of the best of Kollegah. Beat Selection class and lyrically great cinema. Lines which swept under the one and spread goose bumps.

CONCLUSION

On the whole, I find the album but very well done. It's just a completely different style to the Kollegah time interprets the album. Maybe he is not quite at the old pimp Tape series, Kollegah, boss of bosses or JBG ran there, but even so often criticized Autotune can convey especially in tracks like Spotlight, Business Paris, Money or IHDP its positive side.
As einizgen gripe I therefore denounce this excessive Applying Autotune, which in the end but not enough to do the highest rating of 5 stars demolition! Well done boss!
