What stands out immediately in the eye, and especially the young audience arrives is clearly the brashly colorful look of this fun board game for children from 4 years. My daughter is not quite 4 but is no longer a long way, so we tried the game on New Years Eve. After a short, uncomplicated design time then the witch's house was on the board, the witch was able to move (in the chimney) and Hansel and Gretel (each 2x available) made themselves throwing dice on the way. To win, a player must candies in each of the four colors grab that succeeds (in theory) by a combination of luck and retentiveness. Luck comes into play when it comes to choose a candy from the rich bid on the house wall and to be chosen not possible treat that can jump the witch from the roof. To remember, at which point the ever went wrong at the So the witches mechanism is triggered is not so easy. Because about half of all sweets let the witch appear. I can see that but as an advantage, because so even the youngest players have a fair chance to win this game. All in all a fun game that is after 15-20 minutes over. For older players I would not recommend it, but the luck component is much too high. But with younger children you have in the game certainly has its joy. A little criticism finally to color scheme: The colors of the candies at home not agree really in line with those on the pitch. A me incomprehensible negligence of the manufacturer, but which can cloud a little playfulness. At the very end something for creepiness: My 3.5 years old daughter has creeped rather from the witch and no longer wants to play the game. The shock moment occurs when the witch shoots out of the roof, it was too much. The parents should consider sensitive, still quite young children before buying.
