No question - the design is very nice and the pot is very easy. But by eight cups or 1 liter can be no question. According to the manual, the pot should be filled only up to 4 cm below the upper edge. The result is just 4 normal cups, each with 0.18 liters, which adds up to about 0.8 liters Net. That was clear to me too little compared to my previous coffee maker made of glass, in which the desired five cups were achieved with also 1 liter capacity. The depressing the plunger with the screen must be done with extreme caution, because even a little too much pressure ensures that the coffee is distributed with much Prütt over the kitchen table. There is but a disadvantage if you can not see what is going on so inside the pot. What is normal but, because it is indeed an opaque heat-insulated vessel. And that is the next downside: The warming result I would call pretty sparse. After forty-five minutes the coffee was much cooler and just as "good lukewarm" to describe. Too bad, I had given a chance based on the reviews of the pot, but unfortunately outweigh the disadvantage in practice, so I returned it.
