The chain has different light functions (steady, flash or wave lights) and is integrated with a timer (Leuchtddauer 6 hours, after which it automatically goes out). These are great features that you rarely finds in a string of lights. The chain is battery operated, but despite replacing the battery, we feel that it is no longer so intense lights like at the beginning. Too bad, otherwise a great chain of lights.
