Basically, you can forget it even for applications that are partly seen on the packaging of the product for many moving things. I tried it on approximately 5 cables from earphones and chargers. Wherever motion takes place, the Sugru resolves whether applied thinly or thickly with time. So you have only temporarily solved a problem and it is simply too expensive.
On uneven wood, it has not kept, which is why I could not successfully attach a cable routing behind the desk.
Broadly Sugru is rather an expensive flop.
With a single application it has kept with me (soap dispenser bottom non-slip and stable stand).
Here, the silicone is not permanently stretched, like cables or similar, which is why it probably holds here with no problem.
For the few applications where it stops, but there are other options that are much less expensive.
Conclusion: nice gimmick that usually only temporarily resolves on moving parts Problem on rigid connections but can be a relatively expensive but quite fun solution. So overall rather disappointing.
