Who should not consider whether he should buy the crawler .. - and not have to think long Make !!! - I've regretted ...
I myself am more than a month with the Slickrock "pregnant gone" before I had (finally) pressed on the order button ..
The build quality is really super (Vaterra flat) and the vehicle is really fun. The battery fired the powerful engine nearly 45 minutes before he wants to the grid. I had the same to appoint a second battery to change. All the suspensions, joints etc. are designed of metal and generous. I was impressed by the really super powerful servo (oversize).
After several trips on gravel, grass, sand, stones, mud and tree stumps, I must say that I have truly regretted it, to have as long gehardert with me. He earned the name Rock Crawler!
The car is really super terrain. The Small fights everywhere, has neat power and also creates extreme slopes and terrain. The axes are interwoven in extreme situations, what the crawler (almost) always gives a full contact with the ground. Very rarely one wheel has no ground contact times. The shock absorbers are extremely well matched to the vehicle and always ensure good traction.
The wheels are oversized (tire derived from Vaterra Twin Hammer), so rather for the 1:10 scale, which gives the little ones but is extremely good and for the off-road capability that's right: GIANT WHEEL.
In addition, the tires are very soft, which also ensures good good grip.
I had my "Slicky" by obtaining shifted slightly modified (electronics compl. To Füherhaus, LED strip mounted, mudguards and bonnet built new and diverse "little things" geänder / grown (The box Köpi had to be there).
The crawler has potential as far as the hobbyist heart. :-)
Überigens drives the little so scarce 6 to 7 km / h "TopSpeed". But I think not important, because it was indeed built for climbing and not to establish speed records.
