Recorder does not succeed in changing programs with start times (eg tonight)
these adjust automatically
Adding time in the EPG only in 10,20 and 30 min Schriiten, which are always appended to.
If you want to start early, you have to be programmed manually. This is especially annoying because the recorder its own start time (boot)
of 45 sec. is not factored in.
- Automatic creation of chapters works not to take pictures.
Total incomprehensible, since the choice is between every 10 minutes and every 15 minutes there.
- No establishment of programs to be deleted preferable when space is limited.
- Programming without EPG, very awkward because on several menus distributed (only Programming and then the EPG data such as VPS and enter so on.)
The calendar indicates not already programmed times and only after the programming, it warns.
- Comercial-Skip is a sham (prominence in 30sec steps (eg: 5 min).) Not a real advantage for the manual reels.
Can Sony's RDR-HX910 better (according to CT 16/05 p.59).
- Only DVD-R and DVD-RW support.
- To apply to a few formats to a future-proof, what you would expect in such an investment well (eg: DVD Audio is missing entirely)
- Drawer for DVD makes a wobbly impression and makes quite a lot of noise when opening and closing.
Conclusion:
In general, a hard disk recorder is a great thing and not to be compared with VHS recorder.
The recorder meets the minimum requirements for such a device.
People who can live with the weaknesses, get an easy to use device.
Therefore, he still gets 3 stars from me.
Have the recorder returned because the negatives the positives (which I most like basic characteristic look) far outweigh.
Hope Pioneer improved soon after, especially as many would probably be easy to fix.
However, I prefer to wait now on the next big test in ct.
