MUCH PLUS: The Tizzbird looks good and promises neatly computing power. As a media player for your own photos, movies and some document types it works smoothly and provides a great image. The slot for the installation of a hard drive is a good alternative to other USB devices. Also, the Android Market is freely accessible (unlike, say, in Hama), so you can use several apps. In addition, all necessary cables (even HDMI!) There - great! It would, in principle, an excellent device, but:
THE ULTIMATE MINUS: The Internet functionality is however almost useless if you want to read more than just text pages on TV (who wants that). You have to know this, that Flash has adjusted its support for Android - at the same time but is essential for many Internet sites. Android 4.0 attempts to bypass as many problems as possible, this results in: eg streams are passed to the internal player and does not appear in the page. All this may not Android 2.3, which is why many pages and apps with the Tizzbird can not be used. The few media sites that run on other formats, are also not play properly. I tried and installed for three days, and can say that I could see not a single Internet video to the end: even if it is running, eventually comes "video can not be played." Could not be recommended as an Internet media box. If there was the box with Android 4.0 at some point, I would try again.
TWO minor annoyances 1. Make sure your box after initial installation to install an update, to a storage medium is required. With USB flash drives (several) it did not work, only with an SD card. I would like to read the operating instructions, no need to look in forums. 2. The wireless dongle can only the standard "n" because a HD-compatible transfer rate. That was my opinion nowhere, but is important because older routers usually only "b" and "g" can.
