The flap is working fine in itself, neither installation nor registration of chipped cats are a problem. Only for the purpose for which I had the flap actually purchased, it is not good: the raccoons that we wanted to keep it, just claws underneath and lift the flap if it is "just out" put on. And if it is "not to" on, try that with both feet until they are on the nipples, press down and are there - while our own cats remain reliably outside in this setting :-( So if other cats. wants to keep, the very recommendable the flap to protect against invading raccoons she is not good.
