Tested both my Denon Hifi and an X-Fi Titanium HD Sound Card. "Burn in" about 30 hours. I hear instrumental folk and blues.
Now for my experience:
++ Sound: The headphones sound compared to my already relatively good AKG K530 again clear, with significantly more accentuated highs and lows. The heights were described sharply from users other than something I could confirm "fresh out of the package," after the break-in period but no longer. Super, especially for the price!
++ Comfort: Very easy, classic and good shape, even after long wearing more comfortable. Especially the velor are great.
+ Material quality: mix of metal and plastic, the color can taste Being I like it.
o Unfortunately, the cable will not change, in this case the studio version K-240 MkII is perhaps advisable. Since there are two cables and pads to change it. Lens for more money have nevertheless opted for the 242HD because the dark blue plastic was not my case. The eye listens)
o Without sufficient headphone amplifier headphones will be too quiet, despite fairly high efficiency in some users.
Conclusion: The sound is the decisive factor in headphones. And the sound is very, very good. The criticisms you have to decide for themselves if they bother you. From me there despite the partially dubious product policy of AKG full five stars.
Greetings!
