Kingston has been selling about 3-4 months under one and the same label a completely different memory modules. The memory is a design now delivered for 16 chip in which only 8 are fitted, so it is a part stocked 4GB module. This module is not compatible in a QNAP NAS (here: TS-469L).
In the forums you will find this issue since November 2013. Thus, this module is delivered for about 3 months.
Kingston but indicates that this module is compatible.

I can only advise to order jedenm storage for NAS and land if the version immediately send the partially equipped 16 chip design back.
