The mat is relative difficult and thus remains well ahead of the litter lying and does not slip so easily. I tested two types of litter. In my preferred clumping litter the individual grains remain reliably on the mat. They should then, however, Vacuum any or shake the mat. In the other scattered the mat can not score, unfortunately. If the litter is very light, the scattered remains unfortunately not on the mat, are only individual grains remain.
Since I have decided for the heavier litter, I am absolutely satisfied with the mat!
