Just as version 7, currently at 129 euros, the Silk-épil 9 comes in a complete package, quite impressive. An engine block, an epilation head with narrower and adaptable caches, for sensitive areas. There is also an exfoliating head (really great and effective !!!!! We can not do without once you've tried it!), A cleaning brush, a charging cable, a face brush, batteries for the latter and a storage pouch (magnetic fastening very well and especially this cover is divided into two compartments, very good point!). The assembly is, in my opinion, very good quality, with nickel finishes.
The face brush may seem a light hair, but once the batteries are installed and the unit started, we won: it's a real massage, soft, super nice, really the foot but face ;-) !
Oriented LED that can see ALL the hair and not miss any device when passage was retained on that version 9 (as in 5 and 7), excellent point! This is the reason that I had won the Silk-épil precedent and in my opinion it is a brilliant idea which other manufacturers could learn ... There is no risk of missing a hair rebellious and devious. By cons, you can not turn off this LED. Actually, this is not a handicap, certainly, but we do not really need when we pass by exfoliation fashion ...
The handling of the device is still comfortable. No complaints. As for charging, via a cable, it does well in an hour and its autonomy is more than enough to get a waxing session + exfoliation without problems, if not the Yeti corner ...
Apart from this, the head is large and comfortable for a relatively pleasant way. It is efficient and clean. In addition, the joint head allows very smooth transition in curves, behind the legs ...
The transition is well under water for sensitive users, but it will inevitably be less effective. Normal!
But then, what are the most compared to its little brother the Silk-épil 7 ??????
- On 9 has a wider head of 1 cm. It may seem trivial, but clearly it makes a big difference to the use !!! The work is much faster, there is no photo !!! Really very good point!
- The hair removal tweezers are longer and more refined than the 7. I noticed far fewer broken hairs. It is torn, and that's all! That, too, is clearly a point in its favor!
- 195 grams, only 4 grams more than its "ancestor" to a wider head: not bad, Braun !!!
- Instead of the charging cradle of the Silk-épil 7, there was just a charging cable. Personally, I found it less practical, especially on a more expensive device! Shame! Before, we asked the epilator on his little pedestal very discreet and does not take place. There, the epilator is placed as such on the work plan of the bathroom. It is not very tidy, it's really my big disappointment! I found the parade by taking the stand 7 for loading 9 (these are the same electrical characteristics, so no risk), but other users will not have that chance ... For that price, c is a bad point. I do not understand why Braun quibbling about that, but I think they have made a bad choice.
Overall, the whole package is really solid, serious and upscale. I am convinced by the product, complete, clean, efficient and clean.
However, in my eyes, the Silk-épil 9 has no default, if not its price: 200 euros at the time of this comment !!!
In comparison, the model 129 euros 7 may seem more justified, given the provided accessories and services, but inevitably still prohibitive for the award of anybody ...
But in the case of version 9 is downright his heels, hairy or not !!!! For technical developments mainly centered on the width of the epilation head and fine tweezers, I'm not sure that 71 euros more and are worth the trouble.
At the limit, so I think the Silk-épil 7 will be a better compromise and delight its users.
