In Their wellknown realistic approach They beefed up the section about the various ways of performing ballistical tests, always comparing thesis to Their Own findings. So, several experts from different backgrounds Present Their findings and theories about developping, testing and Evaluating handgun ammunition. Chapters on rifle-, shotgun, and black powder-performance round off the picture. The statics and tables on how the different caliber have Performed in the street were revised. Of course, some information is outdated by now, new improved bullets / cartridges havebeen Introduced by almost all of the major manufacturers, other bullets have dissapeared from the market. HOWEVER, this book is nonetheless a valuable resource of basic information, not to say education, for a "ballistic layman" like me. At the end They included descriptions of actual gunfights That brings us back from the world of "tech talk" into the real world, reminding us of the far reaching Consequences of the use of firearms. I recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a comprehensive insight into terminal ballistic effects of handguns.
