Graphics: Since I have honestly not much to complain, there are here and there very poor textures, but overall it looks okey out to good.
Cutscenes: They're really pretty good, I would even say the best thing about the game.
Technology: had not a single crash in the 30 hours of play time.
So now the negative:
Control: Mostly a disaster. In the Leon campaign that goes pretty well out of hand, but once the opponents are more and you'd like to use in the other campaigns, the cover system, it failed all along the line. One can simply not use the cover system. Either the character does not cover, or the objectives is then a horror. Although you can now shoot and go, but where do I profit, if the opponents number has been increased so that it does not comply quickly enough.
Games Design: horrible, if you already want to make a COD or Zombie Shooter waste, it must also run smoothly throughout. But it does not. Why do I combine herbs for still? Why does it not right? Why I fly at 3 health bars go, wants to get up and going again directly deposited. Why heals me my partner AI, when I, a 1 second later, still die if something hits me directly. These are all decisions disturb the flow of the game tremendously. The game is certainly not difficult to normal, but I'm just died more often because there were situations where you could not even defend themselves.
Why do I have to constantly fight against the same bosses. At some point you have whärend playing noticed yourself that this enemy is not dead yet. That's just very bad form and evidence of lack of imagination. Unfortunately, it is also true that one always has the same gameplay. At first it's pretty quiet, later the banging starts. Come along all 4 campaigns from time to time the same game elements. So you have to find in any campaign code 3 to open a door. Here you Followers indestructible opponents. This really comes in every campaign at least once before. Variety, there are only in the Ada Wong campaign.
Atmosphere: The first 1 to 2 hours you can still speak of a dark and gloomy atmosphere, then there is no longer such a thing as atmosphere. Through the dialogues of some characters is more likely that large Fremdschämen and one wishes that the level is quickly.
Characters: With the exception of Jake, I liked not a character. Why? Because everyone else too seriously. Jake had at least a couple of amusing sayings on it, the others have been trying to make a zombie game a drama.
History: I found the thing about Umbrella actually getting quite interesting, but Resident Evil 6 is almost no reference thereto taken. Instead, we get a mini conspiracy followed Zombiapokalypse presented. This is not funny, it's not interesting, that's not even inconsequential, but just plain annoying. The large logic gaps do while still rest.
Conclusion: Is Resident Evil 6 is a horror game? No for the atmosphere is not good enough? If the game is a good Thrid Person Shooter? No for the control is too slow! If the game is a zombie shooter? No it's too slow. No Resident Evil 6 is simple and total not a good game. The game manages maybe sometimes really to show that a lot of potential could be behind RE6, but the next moment you will be disappointed again directly. The little positive is simply swallowed by many negative aspects. I've already screwed down my expectations, because I knew that it is not a very good game, but that's really it partially so bad, I would have not expected. Too bad too bad, because RE4 and RE5 certainly have shown that Resident Evil is still working today, but something like in Resident Evil 6 I do not want to play.
