The printer may purely typographically do a good job, but the setup and installation is for someone like me so its pitfalls.
Yesterday I got the device. The delivery by 'Amazon' was ok. Within two days was delivered. (Printer cable is none here with.)
On my PC, the operating system Windows 8.1 runs. The current standard driver for the "Ecosys P2135dn" is for download on the website of Kyocera (and not on the mitgelierten DVD!) -> I learned but only after I had called the hotline.
The installation guide is presented in a graphical with small drawings indicated. So it saves the hassle and maintenance costs, in any language - to offer a decent translation - in complete sentences.
After you install the correct driver, the machine prints (duplex, Ecoprint, etc) quickly, cleanly and in the desired settings. But then I looked for the mode "silent pressure" and could and could not find the setting variant for it.
Again called the hotline. I was told I would need to call the "Command Center RX". This is but only if I have previously attached your printer to a network. And as I have him only once to assign an IP address and then set the subnet mask correctly. But how do I do that, I must let me explain by someone else ...
So far I have not managed it anyway. Also annoys me that the printer each time disappears from the printer / device directory, if it is in idle mode. Then I have to manually him always first - my green button - activate, apply it again.
In my previous printer "Samsung ML 1630", a laser printer, all that was not needed. I have connected, Windows recognizes him equal and even from sleep mode out he immediately printed and all the settings I could ado clicking the "Printer Settings". Very quietly he was already out of the house. Unfortunately, there are Samsung for him no real successor, so I thought I try it once with the Kyocera.
Well ok, I have to first find someone who sets up my printer as a network printer. We'll see if he does what I want. Otherwise, I give him back. For me, they must use printer that's specifically konzipert for private home users, its really easy and intuitive to install and operate, otherwise it's no fun.
Thought I write the time on fast because I always find my way to the customer reviews from other customers on the purchase.
